Unlike other lenders, banks weren't required to share their customer information with the credit reference agencies in the past.

However, more and more banks have started sharing data, as it helps themselves and other lenders with their decision making.

Even so, some banks still don’t, which may be why your bank account isn’t showing on your report.

You can of course ask your bank to starting sending your payment history to the agencies, but it’s up to them whether they will.
